Hereditary and Genetics we learnt.

1) Genetics is the instructions we call genes.

2) Traits are inherited from parents and grandparents.

3) DNA it looks like a long  lasting lader.

4) Hereditary is when genes are passed down from family.

5) All living things have genes.

6) Medical conditions-some can be passed down.

Our  challenge was to learn about genetics. We watched videos and we created alien traits by flipping a coin and we had a sheet about genetics and we had numbers that you would do with the coin and then you would make a cool and funny alien with the sheet  you copy it down on.

I am proud of my drawings because they look fabulous In their own way.

CRT

For CRT I created turtle collectible toys

I made it with Ava D

I enjoyed planning the toys to see what they would look like.

I found making the turtle challenging because Ava I had to swap jobs.

Next time I would change the box design because it looks weird with what we created.

Here’s a picture of our creation

week 4 reflection

Bone carving

Full action stations I chose bone covering and this is what I did

I am making it for my  dad.

First I designed my carving on paper and we picked four designs to do.

I enjoyed making it and learning some techniques for the clay.

I found challenging with designing and doing my clay making it was hard sculpting  and getting it into the right position that I wanted but I got it in the end.

The changes Shoron could make next time maybe get some more tools.

My haiku

We have been  learning how to describe one of the phases of the moon with a haiku. My haiku goes like this

a full moon shines bright

it looks like a silver ball

see you next time moon.

A haiku is a Japanese poem with 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables the second line has 7 syllables and the third line has 5 syllables.

I enjoyed writing the haiku because I like poems and it’s fun  two challenge myself to different poems

have you ever seen a full moon before
