Homework is inportant

I believe that homework is important for children to do

firstly if we have homework we can learn more but kids also need fresh air.

secondly if we have homework we might get a little  Smarter but then it can make us tired.

Thirdly if we have homework and were  bored and we did’t  our homework we can do it do but not every one wants to do that when there bored.

For these reasons I think homework is important because you can  get smarter, you can learn more and if your  bored you can do your homework.

How to make a printing tile

For Monday mashup ,I designed my own printing  tile

1.First you can get a peace of  Paper and  Practice what you want to do.

2.Then You grab a felt pen you trace what you want lightly on printing tile.

3.Next  You poke holes were you  put your outline  and run it through With your pencil.

4. Finally you can put the paint on  your printing tile and press done on a peace of paper and then let it dry.

Kate Sheppard

In 1847 women  weren’t allowed to vote who led their country and there was one person that did something, Kate Sheppard. She thought this was unfair that women weren’t allowed to vote. She traveled all around New Zealand she got signatures and wrote articles. She  did what was  right. She went  parliament and showed them  how  many people wanted a woman to vote and in 1893  women were allowed to vote. Because of Kate Sheppard”s hard work, women were allowed to vote.

Monday Mashup Crochet

Monday Mashup Crochet

For Monday Mashup we learnt to crochet with Nanna Ngaere.

First, we looked at some different kinds of crochet. Then we learnt how to hold our crochet hook and make chains.

Something I learnt was that everytime I practice crochet, I get faster at doing it.

A value I had to use was integrity because when no one was looking I did the right thing.

Nanna Ngaere made some crochet stars for us and we created chains to hang them on.

Inspired by the Matariki star Hiwa-i-te-rangi we wrote down wishes for the year to attach to our creation.

My Flexi-Physics Creation

In the last few weeks, we have been learning about kinetic, potential and gravitational energy.

First, we read some books, then we did some experiments and answered some questions.

Finally, I got to make my own creation. I decided to make a

catapult

First I had to get a handful of Popsicle sticks and two rubber bands and we stacked the popsicle sticks up and then  tied the ends. Then we got one more  popsicle stick in the bottom . Then we get one  rubber band and a spock and then we tied it at the bottom of the spock  then tie it to the Popsicle stick and pull it back and get a pom pom and you made your own catapult.
